The Muskets Athletic Club was chartered in 1975 to promote, support and sponsor little league football, athletic sports and other recreational functions for children between the ages of 5 through 14 in the Illinois counties of Randolph, Monroe & St. Clair. 

Located in Red Bud, Illinois, the Muskets Athletic Club participates in the Southwest Illinois Youth Football Conference. On a given year, 150-200 Muskets football players are divided among seven to eight football teams of various age & weight categories. In addition, the Muskets also sponsor dozens of cheerleaders that support the Musket teams with cheer routines and half-time performances.
